About the design
Abstract art emerged at the turn of the 20th century and focused on exploring color and form; it directly opposes figurative art and indicates a departure from reality.
Abstract art does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality. This collection uses shapes, colors, forms and textures to communicate a feeling, rather than produce an accurate representation of real life.
